Visiting Xin Ren
Xin Ren is Edwin's Hometown. We traveled from
Guangzhou (Canton) by sleeper train. The train was quite comfortable with
4 bunks to a Sleeper in 2nd classs. The first class seats were compartments
but they were all booked up. Later in our travels we would switch to a
narrow guage railway from Kunming to the Viet border. This is another story!
It drizzled a lot in Xin Ren and here are some street scenes in the small
town.
